DAY 01
DEPARTURE ✈ TOKYO
- We meet at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and travel to Tokyo Haneda Airport on D7 522.
- After arrival and immigration, transfer to the hotel and rest before the cross-Japan journey begins.
DAY 02
TOKYO → HAKONE → MOUNT FUJI
- Visit Senso-ji and Kaminarimon, Tokyo's landmark temple approach and red Thunder Gate.
- Walk through Nakamise Shopping Street for traditional snacks and souvenirs.
- Explore Oshino Hakkai's clear spring-fed ponds and traditional village scenery beneath Mount Fuji.
- When weather and road conditions permit, we will arrange a visit to Mount Fuji’s Fifth Station.
DAY 03
MOUNT FUJI → MATSUMOTO → TAKAYAMA
- Visit Daio Wasabi Farm and follow its clear waterways through the green wasabi fields of Azumino.
- View Matsumoto Castle from outside, where the black-and-white keep and moat form one of Japan's great historic castle scenes.
- Continue to Takayama as the route moves from the Fuji foothills into the Japanese Alps.
DAY 04
TAKAYAMA → SHIRAKAWA-GO → GIFU
- Browse Takayama Morning Market for local produce, crafts and the everyday rhythm of Hida.
- Walk through Takayama Old Town's preserved Edo-period timber merchant houses.
- Explore UNESCO-listed Shirakawa-go and learn how its steep thatched gassho roofs answer the region's heavy snow.
- Continue to the Gifu area for the overnight stay.
DAY 05
GIFU → KYOTO → OSAKA
- Visit Kiyomizu-dera and take in Kyoto's historic hillside landscape from its wooden terrace.
- Join a Japanese tea ceremony and experience Kyoto through utensils, etiquette and matcha.
- Continue to Osaka's Shinsaibashi for shopping, food and the energy of the city's illuminated streets.
DAY 06
OSAKA ✈ KUALA LUMPUR
- We arrange the transfer to Kansai International Airport and the return to Kuala Lumpur on D7 533.

Seasonal weather & packing
Cities stay cool morning and evening while mountain areas are colder; pack layers, a light jacket and walking shoes.
Tokyo and Osaka are hot and humid, but Fuji and Takayama are cooler; bring breathable clothing and a light layer.
Temperatures vary sharply between the cities and alpine stops; use knit layers, a jacket and supportive shoes.
Takayama and Shirakawa-go may be snowy; bring a warm coat, gloves and waterproof shoes with good grip.
