DAY 01

KUALA LUMPUR ✈ GUANGZHOU ✈ URUMQI

  • Meet at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and travel to Urumqi via Guangzhou.
  • Arrive in Urumqi and transfer to the hotel for check-in and rest.

DAY 02

URUMQI → FUHAI → BURQIN

  • Travel north along the S21 Desert Highway.
  • Stop for photos at Kalamaili Desert Park.
  • Pass Ulungur Lake and the Irtysh River before arriving in Burqin for hotel check-in.

DAY 03

BURQIN → HEMU VILLAGE → JIADENGYU

  • Travel by seven-seat vehicle to Hemu Village Scenic Area, including the shuttle bus, and view the snow-covered village from the lookout.
  • Ride Cable Car No. 1 to Yunxiao Peak for Altai Mountain views, or choose an optional ski experience at Jikepulin Ski Resort; ski equipment is not included.
  • After dinner, experience splashing water into ice in the hotel courtyard before staying in Jiadengyu.

DAY 04

JIADENGYU → KANAS → BURQIN

  • Travel by seven-seat vehicle into Kanas Scenic Area with the shuttle bus included.
  • Visit Crouching Dragon Bay, Moon Bay, Fairy Bay and the birch forest.
  • Continue to Guanyu Pavilion when weather, capacity limits and operating conditions permit, then return to Burqin.

DAY 05

BURQIN → URHO → DUSHANZI

  • Explore Urho Devil City with the scenic-area buggy ride included.
  • Pass the landscape of thousands of oil wells before continuing to Dushanzi for the night.

DUSHANZI → SAYRAM LAKE

  • Travel to Sayram Lake, with the tour coach entering the scenic area.
  • See winter ice walls, ice bubbles and blue ice; actual ice conditions depend on the weather.
  • A group drone photo is planned when conditions permit.

DAY 07

SAYRAM LAKE → BOLE 🚄 URUMQI

  • Watch sunrise at Sayram Lake when weather permits.
  • Continue to Bole railway station and take a second-class high-speed train to Urumqi.
  • Arrive and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 08

URUMQI ✈ GUANGZHOU ✈ KUALA LUMPUR

  • After breakfast, transfer to Urumqi Airport and fly to Kuala Lumpur via Guangzhou.
  • Continue the homebound journey on the evening sector.
