There are no designated shopping stops. Wangfujing Street and Beijing Outlet remain sightseeing and browsing visits on the itinerary. Personal shopping is not included in the tour fare.

Beijing and Gubei Water Town are approximately 145km apart. Travel to Gubei on day 4 and return towards Beijing on day 5.
FIVE REASONS TO FALL FOR BEIJING
Beyond each palace gate lies another courtyard. Vermilion walls, golden roofs and white stone terraces create a remarkable sense of depth; pause to take in the scale, not just the photograph.
Explore the dye house and distillery by day, then slow down beside the waterways after dark. Reflections of bridges and lanterns give the lanes a different mood—and tonight, there is no rush back to Beijing.
The Great Wall is not a level promenade. Steps climb with the terrain, revealing new lines of ramparts as you turn. Walk at a comfortable pace and make each pause part of the experience.
Blue-glazed tiers rise above pale stone terraces. In contrast to the red and gold of the Forbidden City, the hall’s circular form and open setting offer a very different expression of Beijing.
From the arrow tower to Qianmen Street and the bookshops and cafés of Beijing Fang, old-city architecture meets everyday life. It is a place to notice the details between the landmarks.
PACK FOR THE SEASON
From late autumn to early spring, let adaptable layers do the work.
Pack long sleeves, a warm middle layer and a windproof jacket. Keep a scarf and light gloves handy for Gubei evenings and the Great Wall.
Bring thermal layers, a warm coat, hat, scarf and gloves. Beijing winters are cold and dry; lip balm, moisturiser and an insulated flask are useful.
Do not pack only light spring clothes. Keep a warm outer layer and adjust your layers as conditions change. Choose grippy shoes for Great Wall steps.

An optional CNY380-per-person package combines Old Beijing acrobatics, the Shenwumen sightseeing vehicle, Lama Temple, Shichahai, Drum Tower East Street and a coach view of Beijing CBD. Day 6 also offers an optional Universal Studios trip at CNY950 per person, minimum 10 participants, including admission, guide and coach. The Simatai cable car is not included.
Day 5 visits Juyongguan Great Wall. Day 4 includes a distant view of Simatai from Gubei Water Town, without its cable car. These are different arrangements.
If the Forbidden City is closed on Monday or access is restricted by visitor limits, the visits change to Prince Gong’s Mansion and Jingshan Park, with a view over the palace from Jingshan.
The Gubei homestay has no triple room; its single-room supplement is RM200. Parties of three should confirm the room split and total tour fare when booking. Extra beds at other hotels may be rollaway beds or mattresses.
The tour includes five hotel nights: four in Beijing and one in Gubei. After the free day on day 6, transfer to the airport that evening for the 02:30 flight on day 7. No sixth hotel night is included.
