Scope

This page applies to Beyond Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd's standard outbound FIT and group tour packages. The product page and booking confirmation specify the fare, deposit, inclusions and insurance for each departure. Separate terms for cruises, charter flights or other special products, where applicable, will be presented before payment.

01

Deposit and balance

The standard deposit is up to 25% of the tour fare per person. The FIT balance is due at least 14 working days before departure; the group tour balance is due at least 21 working days before departure. The product page and booking confirmation show the actual deposit and due date. If the balance is not paid on time, the reservation may be cancelled and the deposit handled under the applicable terms.

02

Changing a booking

After confirmation, FIT changes cost RM50 per person per change. No FIT change is accepted within 8 working days of departure. For group tours, no change is accepted within 14 working days of departure. A request to return earlier or later than the group is subject to the airline's conditions. Changing the entire booking is treated as cancellation of the original reservation, with the applicable cancellation charges.

03

Cancellation by traveller

Please submit cancellation requests in writing. Charges are calculated per person using the number of working days between our receipt of your notice and departure. Special promotional airfares may have additional airline cancellation restrictions; known ticket restrictions will be explained before payment.

Cancellation by the company

If a tour must be cancelled due to natural disaster, war, strike, riot or a Malaysian government order outside our control, we will recommend a suitable alternative. If the traveller declines it, payments will be refunded less the applicable administration fee under the standard terms. If we cancel a group tour due to insufficient passengers or inability to secure transport, seats or accommodation, the refunds and compensation below apply.

Travel documents and entry

Travellers must hold a valid passport or other recognised travel document, preferably valid for at least six months after return, and meet destination visa and health document requirements. We will advise on known requirements and assist with applications where possible, but cannot guarantee a visa or entry. If a required visa or exit permit is refused, the tour fare is refunded less the applicable administration fee under the standard terms. Refusal of entry caused by improper documents or personal circumstances is handled under the applicable terms.

06

Fare and inclusions

Published fares are current when issued. If airfares, transport, hotel rates, exchange rates or government taxes affect the price, we will advise before confirming the booking. Flights, accommodation, meals, sightseeing and transfers are included only as stated on the product page, itinerary and confirmation. Laundry, personal spending, non-specified meals and optional activities are at the traveller's expense unless included.

07

Unused services

Where a traveller does not use included flights, accommodation, meals, sightseeing, transport or other services for personal reasons, the standard terms provide no separate refund or fare reduction. If the whole reservation is cancelled before departure, the cancellation table above and applicable airline conditions govern.

08

Baggage and insurance

Baggage allowances and conditions depend on the airline and the specific product; the booking confirmation states the included allowance. Travellers should check the scope of their travel insurance. Where insurance is included in a tour fare, the product description and actual policy govern its coverage.

09

Itinerary changes and responsibility

Flight schedules, weather or local conditions may require changes to sightseeing, hotels or routes. We will arrange suitable alternatives and advise travellers. We may decline or discontinue a traveller's participation under applicable terms if their conduct endangers the health or safety of others. Beyond Travel remains responsible, as applicable, for services promised in the confirmation and itinerary.

10

Before you confirm

Before payment, please check the fare, room arrangement, deposit, cancellation rules and any special terms for your product. The final booking confirmation will set out the confirmed services and payment arrangements. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable Malaysian law are not affected by this page.

This page follows the structure of Malaysia's standard terms for outbound tour packages. Applicable law takes precedence.
